Thirdly, a full physical examination will be carried out. Special attention will be paid to the eyes. The pressure within the eyeballs is also measured. This process is called tonometry.

Generally, treatment depends on the cause of the condition. For example, laser surgery can be used for any iris irregularity. Additionally, medication can help with eyeball pressure problems.

As always, if your vet prescribes your dog any medicine, make sure to stick to the correct dose and frequency instructions. Also, complete the full course of medicine.

Finally, keep up regular vet appointments after treatment. This is to monitor your dog’s recovery and vision.
