The tiny dog, who only weighs about 1.2 pounds, was seen on the cover of the Aug. 14, 2024, issue of Dogue. Dogue is Vogue’s digital section that features news about celebrity dogs and other canine news. The renowned Ghost star recently sat down with the magazine and opened up about her four-legged companion. The magazine also complimented Pilaf for her poised demeanor in front of the camera, calling her a natural.
Demi Moore reveals her pet dog Pilaf loved Tom Holland in ‘Romeo and Juliet’
In her interview with Vogue, Demi Moore reveals that her daughter Tallulah Willis came across the dog on Facebook during the global pandemic when Pilaf’s owners posted the photo of a litter of puppies. The pup’s birthplace is Thailand. As Moore fell for the white and brown Chihuahua, she made arrangements for her to fly from Thailand to Los Angeles. The pup is now accustomed to leading a lavish lifestyle. Moreover, she was seen wrapped in luxury brands during the shoot.
Moore gushed over her and was seen cheerleading for her tiny pet dog while the photographer took her shots. She said that Pilaf resembles Bette Davis and looks like a cross between her and a goldfish. Moore also calmed Pilaf down during the shoot. The actress further revealed that she shares a special bond with Pilaf despite having other dogs.
She continued that Pilaf tags along with her everywhere she goes, including Broadway shows and international trips. Recently, the Chihuahua accompanied her owner to see the stage production of “Romeo and Juliet,” featuring the “Spiderman” actor Tom Holland, on London’s West End. Her pet dog reportedly “loved” the production and enjoyed seeing the actor on stage.
Demi Moore is very much in love with her pet dog, Pilaf, and calls her a blessing in her life. According to her, the pup is also a natural giver and easily bonds with strangers.
