Your dog buddy is so cute and lovable, he could be a Disney character, right? Well here are some breeds that could perfectly take on the part in your favorite Disney movie. This is based on my own observations working with dogs for several years, so it’s just for fun:
1. Samoyeds and Olaf (Frozen)
Samoyeds are the best for giving warm hugs, just like Olaf. And they’re most at home in the cold weather, but we’re sure they dream of a nice summer day once in a while. It’s important to make sure they don’t get too warm, though.
2. Shih Tzus and Carl (Up)
Small and curmudgeonly, Shih Tzus just want to keep their warm, comfy personal space. But sometimes they’re ready to take off on an adventure. Like Carl, they can surprise you.
3. Bouvier des Flandres and Hercules (Hercules)
Bouviers are big, strong, and very protective, but it takes them a while to know their own strength. Like Hercules, they have to grow and learn to use their power for good, instead of accidentally destroying your house. With the right training, they can be a hero.
4. Dachshunds and Alice (Alice in Wonderland)
Curiouser and curiouser, Dachshunds are usually getting into things they shouldn’t. Like Alice, they love to investigate and are quite adventurous, despite their small stature.
5. Pit Bulls and Quasimodo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Some people just don’t understand Pit Bulls, so they’re afraid of them. The same goes for Quasimodo. But even though they are shunned, anyone who takes the time to get to know them finds out just how sweet and loyal they are.
6. Beagles and Pocahontas (Pocahontas)
Beagles always follow their noses, which can lead them to run off when you don’t expect it. They can also tend to ignore commands and be willful, like the free-spirited Pocahontas. They love to be out in nature and sniff out new things.
7. Afghan Hounds and Rapunzel (Tangled)
Afghan hounds and Rapunzel have one obvious thing in common: long, flowing hair. Afghan Hounds require daily brushing, or their hair can get out of control. And, like Rapunzel, they long to be independent and do their own thing.
8. Weimaraners and the Seven Dwarfs (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
Weimaraners are so moody that they could represent all of the Seven Dwarfs by themselves. They could be as grumpy as they are happy or sleepy. And like the dwarfs, they can seem chaotic and easily distracted. But with the right companion, they’re friendly and very loving.
