A family moved from America to Turkey for business and started helping with the local homeless dog population. They brought some of the sick and dying puppies home to die in a more peaceful, clean, and loving environment. The shelters are over crowded. The shelter they volunteer at has over 4,000 dogs and living conditions are not good but they rarely euthanize dogs in Turkey.
It’s heartbreaking to see so many homeless dogs living in such conditions but it’s so good to know that there are people who care and thanks to them, sweet Faith survived. She never would have lived if it weren’t for this family, that’s for sure.
