Travis Barker has taken to Instagram to post a tribute to his dog, Blue, who recently died. On Wednesday (Nov. 4), the Blink-182 drummer posted a range of photos and videos of the French Bulldog to his Instagram story.

“I’ll miss you Blue. You were the best dog. I was always waiting for you to say something. Love you 4ever boy,” wrote the 46-year-old, who alongside being in Blink-182 has worked with the likes of Machine Gun Kelly, Willow, and Avril Lavigne in recent years.

Barker’s daughter, 16-year-old Alabama, shared tributes of her own, too. On her Instagram story, she posted: “You will never understand how much you helped me on my darkest days.”

“You slept next to me, the way I would throw your ball and you would run with excitement, or the eyes you had that just touched everybody, I’ll never forget you my baby,” she continued. “I know you’ll have the most amazing time up in doggy heaven. Until we meet again my love.”

She posted another tribute on TikTok, writing “I love you my baby, Your mommy loves you more then life could imagine, [you’re] going to have the most amazing life in heaven, until we meet again my son I love you more then life itself.

A Social Media Star

Blue had his own Instagram account, too, and there are a few photos and videos of the pup – including one with his daughter, Fudge. Meanwhile, Barker often posts photos of his pets on the social media site. In 2021, he shared photos of himself with one of his canines, with the caption “Dogs never bite me. Just humans”.

Barker married Kourtney Kardashian earlier this year, and she has pets of her own. While dogs are of course for life, not just for Christmas, she bought a Golden Retriever as a Christmas gift for her three children, who she shares with ex-husband Scott Disick, in 2019. Alongside Golden Retriever Cubs, she has a Pomeranian, Honey, too.
