Paw-mazing Pets: Beagle Sets World Record For Most Balls Caught With Paws

Meet Purin, the most adorable goalkeeper in all of sports. She’s a 12-year-old Beagle with a special talent for soccer. But she doesn’t just defend her goal; she catches soccer balls with her front paws. And she’s gotten really good at it. In fact, she broke the Guinness World Record for the most balls caught by a dog with the front paws in one minute.

A Tiny, Furry Champion

Her newest record of 14 mini soccer balls caught shattered her old World Record of 11 from the previous year. Her owner says they practice for 15 minutes every day at their home in Japan. She doesn’t practice too much longer than that, as her owner doesn’t want her to get bored.

Purin is quite an athlete. She holds two other records, including the Guinness World Record for the fastest 10 meters traveled on a ball by a dog. She managed to do it in only 9.45 seconds. That’s probably faster than we could go without falling on our faces. Purin also broke her own record for most rope skips with her human in a minute with 58 skips! Check out Purin on Facebook to keep up with her.
