Yay! They’ve been talking about it for a while but New York has finally made a new sate law that allows restaurants to open their outdoor dining areas to diners and their canine companions. Governor Cuomo signed the law Monday adding New York to the list of other states that allow pups on patios in restaurants: California, Florida and Maryland are also dog friendly dining states.
The pups will have to be on leashes of course and it’s up to individual restaurants. They don’t have to allow dogs, but they can if they want to. We think that’s good for business!
