Man High On LSD Saves A Dog From A Fire That Never Existed

When a man in New York saw his neighbor’s house on fire, he knew he had to do something. He ran around the neighborhood banging on doors, but no one would help him. So he took matters into his own hands, crashed his BMW through the neighbor’s fence, and broke in the back door to save his neighbor’s dog. He would have been a hero, except for the fact that he was high on LSD–and the fire never happened. It was a hallucination.

When the police arrived, they found the man standing outside of the home, holding the dog in his arms and looking every bit like a high hero. Unfortunately for him, he caused a lot of damage for no real reason, so he was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and his bail was set at $15,000. The dog was fine and safe from fires, real or imaginary.

It’s great that this man cares about animals so much that, even in his high state, he was willing to go to such lengths to save a dog. His time doing drugs would probably be better spent volunteering for a local animal shelter so he could actually be a real hero to dogs in need.

Do you think this guy deserves a break because he was just trying to help? Would you do what he did if you saw a dog in danger? Let us know in the comments below!
