Two Doritos commercials featuring dogs could air during Super Bowl XLVIII

Update: “Time Machine” and “Cowboy Kid” were the two winners of Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest.

As the February 2nd Super Bowl XLVIII at New Jersey‘s Metlife Stadium nears, companies are putting their best creative foot forward (along with as much as $4 million for a 30-second slot) to make the most entertaining commercial possible.

While the lineup so far is largely devoid of pets, two of the five Doritos Crash the Super Bowl candidates feature dogs in prominent roles. Take a look:

“Cowboy Kid” has a child whose family Bullmastiff serves as a horse:

“Time Machine” has a chip-gobbling Golden Retriever:

For animal lovers, an ostrich is featured in a third spot, “Breakroom Ostrich:”
