Super Bowl? No, super blogs!

I’m not even gonna pretend. When the guacamole runs out, so too does my interest in Super Bowl watching. At that point, I plan to catch up on the latest posts from my three favorite blogs. Haven’t caught football fever? Check ’em out:

Good Food blog
Hungry to make a difference? The Good Food Media Group is the go-to strategy consultancy for businesses and interest groups advocating sustainability and humane farming practices. Though the blog is fairly new, the posts are meaty (!) and offer advice relevant to every animal welfare organization — including shelters and rescues — looking to reach a wider audience.

Pet News and Views
If it’s affecting companion animals, it’s being covered here. Blogger Michele Hollow writes about everything from the big news events of the day to best practices in the rescue community to feel-good feature stories to shelter happenings, contests, and promotions. If you work or volunteer in the animal space, this blog is not to miss.

Rolling Dog Farm
If you’re looking for a real pick-me-up, check out this blog about disabled dogs and cats. I’m not kidding. The ranch started out as a home for blind horses, and grew into a sanctuary for animals with congenital health issues and debilitating accidents or injuries. The founders will amaze you with their dedication and compassion, and the stories of their animals will put things in perspective in a most satisfying way.
