Have you ever needed to get something done but just couldn’t find the energy to do it? Maybe it’s a nice warm afternoon and you’ve just had a big lunch. Or you just couldn’t get enough sleep the night before.
Whatever the reason, there are moments in the day where you just can’t keep your eyes open. And we pet parents aren’t alone in this struggle.
Our beloved dogs can suffer through the same sleepiness, as well. And if you’re lucky, you might catch them in the act of trying to stay awake.
Just keep in mind that if you do find your dog struggling to stay awake, let them lie down and take a nap. And if it’s a constant struggle for your dog, make sure you visit your vet to make sure everything is okay.

Like babies, our puppies tend to sleep a lot. One minute they can be balls of energy, and the very next, they’re somewhere curled up in a deep slumber.
Take this adorable little Labrador Retriever who was five weeks old at the time of the video above, for example. We catch him as he tries to get some shuteye on the stairs.
For some reason, this position is very comfortable for him as he rests his head. When you’re that sleepy, anywhere can be comfy!

We’ve all been there before, haven’t we? We’re relaxing on the couch, about to start a movie or television show, and the next thing you know, we wake up to the end credits and have no idea when we fell asleep.

When you’re a soldier, you might have a job where you’ll need to stay up all night. This, of course, can be very tiring and might cause a little sleep deprivation. The same can happen for soldier dogs.

Police Dog Is Super Tired
Police officers also have tireless jobs. They work constantly throughout the day. Most who patrol their neighborhoods will have a partner, and some will be lucky enough to have a canine partner.
