Maggie, an Australian Kelpie from Victoria, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the farm where she spent her 30 long, happy years of life. Police Officer Responds To Call At Animal Shelter And Leaves With A New Puppy
Officer Marcus Montgomery of the Fort Walton Beach Police Department responded to a routine call at the local animal shelter, and while he was investigating, he fell in love at first sight with a puppy! The dog had been left outside the shelter in a box in freezing temperatures, and his story broke Officer Montgomery's heart. He adopted the puppy on the spot, brought him home, and named him Kylo. Cats get stuck in trees all the time, but when Elmwood Volunteer Fire and Rescue heard that a 120 Great Dane puppy was stuck in a tree, they had a hard time believing it until they saw it. They arrived on the scene and climbed the tree to help the dog. They tried to lower her in a harness, but she slipped out and fell into a stretched out tarp. Four Boys Rescue A Dog Who Was Abandoned And Tied To A Vacant House
Four boys found an abandoned dog tied to a vacant house, and they decided to help the poor pup. They approached her with bologna and took her home. The dog, who they named Sparkle, took to the kids right away. Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue saw the boys playing with the dog, and the kids agreed that the dog would be better off with medical treatment and a forever home, so they let the rescuers take her. Dog Rescued From Volcanic Lava Tube In Hawaii
A dog named Kula wandered away from her home in Hawaii, and when she didn't return, her owner was worried. That's when he heard barks coming from under ground. He called the local humane society for help, and they used ropes and harnesses from the National Park Service to lower themselves into an old lava tube where Kula had fallen. Survivor Dog Lost At Sea – Found 5 Weeks Later On An Island
A German Shepherd named Luna disappeared over the side of her owner's fishing boat. Her owner spent two days looking for her, but couldn't find the pup. She showed up five weeks later at a naval facility on an island two miles from where she went overboard.
