Tom Holland Mourns Death of Dog ‘Tessa’

On April 21, Tom Holland shared an adorable close-up of his late dog Tessa, captioning the Instagram post, “Missing my lady.” On April 7, his dad, Dominic Holland, shared the news of the pup’s passing on social media. He revealed that the Staffordshire Bull Terrier passed away earlier this month. The beloved pet died right before her 10th birthday, which would have been celebrated in the upcoming month.

Tom Holland took to Instagram to mourn the loss of his beloved dog Tessa, who often made appearances on his social media. Fans also mourned the passing of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, as the adorable dog had stolen everyone’s hearts. Tom brought his furry companion along on many occasions, including The Brothers Trust event and “Spider-Man: Homecoming” promotions.

The Hollands first adopted Tessa in 2014. Moreover, Tom had shared the news with his fans with an adorable photo of Tessa resting her head on his shoulder. To commemorate the Staffy, the family has planted a tree in their front garden “for all the world to see, share and enjoy.”

Tom Holland has time and again talked about his love for Tessa in his interviews. In a 2017 interview with TIME, the actor exclaimed, “I love her, she is an angel…She is the sweetest, most angelic thing you’ll ever meet.”

Zendaya also took to her dog’s Instagram to write a heartfelt message for Tessa. She wished upon her “boundless array of doggy treats and toys.” Further, Zendaya also shared a collection of photos and videos of the beloved dog, including some with both the pups together.

In the Instagram post mourning Tessa’s passing, Tom’s dad exclaimed that she was “the only Holland who everyone loved all of the time.” He noted that the cute pup had found her place in everyone’s hearts, dominating the entire family.
