John Legend & Chrissy Teigen Launch Pet Food Brand ‘Kismet’

On May 1, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen launched their pet food brand, Kismet. The couple have been big lovers of dogs since 2008 when they first started dating. English Bulldog Puddy was their very first fur baby, joining their brood soon after they started seeing each other.

Pet food brand ‘Kismet’ is John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s first joint business venture

Pet food brand Kismet celebrates canines as John Legend and Chrissy Teigen expand on their love for dogs. With the duo demonstrating their affection for dogs from the very beginning, Kismet is a perfect fit as their first venture together.

However, it isn’t just a pet food brand. The duo plans to offer lifestyle goods such as trendy merchandise for dog lovers. Currently, Kismet offers t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, sweatpants, and bandanas. The best part is that the bandana is versatile and can be used by either canines or humans. So, an owner can twin with their pup with this chic clothing article.

As of now, Kismet will stick to high-end dry foods for dogs that will be available in two flavors: Chicken & Barley and Salmon & Brown Rice. Other than that, they will also sell treats offered as sticks or squares. These will also come in two flavors: Slow Cooked Beef and Slow Cooked Salmon.

Per People, the name of the pet food brand refers to the beautiful connection a pet parent has with their furry friends. Moreover, proceeds from the purchases will be donated to Kismet Cares. The brand’s philanthropic arm will go on to support Paws for Life and Project Street Vet.

Customers can also become a part of Kismet’s discounted subscription plan. This will come in handy if your pup really enjoys their food and treats. For edible products, the brand worked with the founder of Project Street Vet, Dr. Kwane Stewart, and other board-certified veterinarian nutritionists.
