Amanda Seyfried has been an animal advocate for quite some time. However, after adopting her pup Finn, she is all the more passionate about helping rescue animals find their forever homes. According to The Dodo, when presented with the opportunity to help a shelter dog find a loving home, the actor wanted to be paired with a canine who might be facing more challenges in getting adopted.

Ethel is a 10-year-old shelter dog who had been looking for a new home for about six months. Moreover, Amanda Seyfried’s Pit Bull mix date is adorable due to her snaggle-toothed smile. The canine had the best time with the actor, hanging out with her in her New York City apartment. In a YouTube video, Seyfried exclaimed that she also had “the best day” with Ethel.

First, Amanda and Ethel spent some time in the actor’s apartment to get the shelter dog used to her surroundings. After the canine had warmed up to Seyfried, they had a cute painting date together. While Seyfried painted the senior dog, Ethel created a masterpiece of her own with the help of some peanut butter.

After the duo finished their paintings, Amanda Seyfried took the Pit Bull mix for a walk while they allowed the paint to dry. The senior dog had a great time on their walk because she loves to walk amongst flowers. The actor also had some snacks ready for her date for a quick tea time. The canine enjoyed her doggy cupcake while Seyfried sipped her tea and munched her scones.

After some playtime in a kids’ playhouse, Amanda and Ethel said their goodbyes. The best part is that the Pit Bull mix has already been adopted and her new family would provide her with a loving forever home.
