On Sunday, Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham shared images with their late dog, Nala. The couple is mourning the unexpected passing of their pet after a visit to the groomer’s. The duo exclaimed that the Chihuahua left their side too soon. They also noted that they hope other people don’t have to face such unexpected loss. The couple asked their fans to be careful when leaving their beloved pets in the care of others.

According to People, Nala originally belonged to Peltz, who had the pup for four years before she started seeing Beckham. In the Instagram post, the actor stated that the Chihuahua had been by her side for about nine years. Exclaiming that it was the “hardest month of her life,” she clarified that Nala was absolutely fine before her grooming session.

However, when she was picked up, the dog was hyperventilating. Although she was rushed to the emergency vet, the canine could only fight on for a few more hours before passing away. Brooklyn Beckham also noted that the dog was the “cutest little baby girl” in his Instagram post paying tribute to Nala.

The actor also stated that a day without Nala felt like an eternity, and she could only wish to have her pet back in her arms. Nicola Peltz then posted another image of her kissing her beloved dog on Instagram. She captioned it, “My brain can’t comprehend where you went… I just feel so much pain.”
