A heartwarming reunion story of a rescued dog and his owners is winning hearts on the internet. The dog was reportedly infested with ticks and maggots and was staying in an abandoned toilet when the rescuers from Happy Doggo found him. In the video, he was seen sitting in a corner, staring at the blank walls and looking unhappy. During the dog’s transformation on his journey back to good health, the rescuers decided to name him Henry and then lovingly called him Mr. Big before putting him up for adoption.

Things started to look up for Henry when a couple came in to adopt him. They reportedly drove eight hours just to come and visit him. Moreover, the couple fell in love with him at first sight and decided to take him home.
However, Henry’s storybook ending suffered a major setback when he bit his new owner’s hand when they were introducing him to their other dogs. This was shocking, even for his savers, as he had no prior history of aggression or violent attacks. This led to the couple deciding not to go through with the adoption process. At that point, Henry’s future seemed uncertain.
But it all changed when one of the members of the dog rescue team responsible for Henry’s transformation was walking Henry one day, and they posted a video of him on his social media account. Fortunately, this resulted in Henry’s former owners contacting the team. They revealed that Henry strolled out of the house about nine months ago and has been missing ever since. They had been searching for him and were ready to be reunited at last.
The Happy Doggo team visited the owner’s house, and Henry was finally back with his family. He happily visited his favorite corners of the house. Another highlight was the reunion between him and his sister, who looks identical to him. Henry’s original name is Boy, while the family calls his sister Girl.
Now, Boy is busy being pampered by his family, who wants to make up for all the love he missed while he was away from home.
