It’s unthinkable to imagine what a puppy named Galadriel must have endured from people that were suppose to love and protect her, that required her to have a leg amputated.
Concerned neighbors phoned the police in Morrow, Georgia after hearing what sounded like a dog being brutalized. Animal control was called and found enough evidence to promptly remove the pit bull. She was at the Clayton County Animal Control facility most likely dying from internal injuries when Angels Among Us stepped in.
Thanks to donations they were able to take her to the animal emergency hospital where the staff was horrified with what they found. The x-rays revealed broken bones in her face a broken jaw, fractured ribs and a broken leg. The leg had actually been broken in the past and never healed correctly. In the end it had to be amputated.
Galadriel is adapting to life in her foster home and her three legs.
Update: Her previous owners have been arrested and charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
