PETA has expressed concerns about the welfare of Kim Kardashian’s dogs after her daughter North shared a TikTok video that led fans to believe that her two Pomeranians live in her garage.

Do the Dogs Live In Her Garage?

Lisa Lange, senior vice president of the animal advocacy organization, said to Page Six: “Knowing that Kim Kardashian is anti-fur and mostly vegan, we are hoping hard that she does not relegate her dogs to life in a garage”.

“What PETA does know is that dogs are highly social pack animals who need more than just soft beds and decorative stockings: They deserve to feel safe, loved, and to live inside the house as part of the family.”

North went on to remove the video, further fuelling speculation that her dogs do indeed live in her mom’s garage.

The Kardashians are known for their various pets. Elder sister Kourtney has two dogs, while younger sis Khloe had two, who have both sadly died. Meanwhile, Kourtney’s husband, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, mourned the loss of his pup Blue last year. And Kim herself has even launched her own loungewear for dogs

TikTok Criticism

But while the family certainly appear to be animal lovers, it hasn’t stopped TikTok users from questioning their treatment of their furry friends. “This video was deleted from North’s account. Is it because Kim Kardashian doesn’t want people to think they keep their dogs in the garage? I wonder why they deleted it…” said one user, who reposted the now-deleted video to their own account.

“Provide a better life than this for your dogs,” said one comment. “They have acres of land but they keep dogs in their garage smh,” said another.

However, there were also people quick to defend the socialite and businesswoman. “Y’all know her garage is heated to the fullest. I see nothing wrong with this at all,” said one, while others made the point that her garage is likely to be more pleasant to live in than many houses.
